Welcome to our 24/25 season! We are thrilled to welcome some of the most outstanding conductors from around the world to lead this season’s performances. Four of these conductors join us as candidates to be Philharmonia’s next Music Director.
This season, we celebrate the richness of the Baroque era with music from Handel, Bach, Rameau, and more. We also experience phenomenal pieces by Mozart and Mendelssohn, with a few additional surprises along the way.
Be part of the journey as we select our new Music Director by sharing your feedback with us—stay tuned for more details about our selection process as the season approaches.
In addition to our four Music Director candidates, our season features the legendary mandolinist Avi Avital. He joins us for a program that celebrates the 400th anniversary of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons alongside evocative songs from Venice sung by Grammy-award winning soprano Estelí Gomez.
This season is an adventure, but it also takes us back to our roots with repertoire we love. We hope you’ll join us.
