San Francisco Dance Film Festival presents an exclusive screening of Sony Pictures’ CENTER STAGE!
Following the screening, San Francisco Chronicle’s Tony Bravo will moderate a Q&A with CENTER STAGE star Amanda Schull and the evening’s host, Lady Camden. Hear from the leading lady about her journey from San Francisco Ballet dancer to Hollywood ingenue and how the film paved the way for others.
Enjoy an evening of community and celebration as we honor this iconic dance film that inspired a generation of dancers and dance fans worldwide.

ABOUT THE FILM The American Ballet Company is not for the fainthearted, it’s for the most gifted and beautiful ballet dancers alive. But you’ll need more than mere physical prowess and determination to succeed. You’ll need to deliver the goods at CENTER STAGE. Jonathan Reeves (Peter Gallagher, American Beauty), the ballet company’s director, is evaluating this young tight-knit group of students as they face the growing pains of their ambitions, romances and heartbreaks which prove to be both invigorating and difficult. The results are a celebration of beauty, bodies, and ballet.
